OVNA OVICH is a celebration of compassionate, strong women, who are at ease, inside and out. We are devoted to making environmentally and socially responsible ready to wear, through local production and natural materials produced using sustainable practises.
Marina Davis founded the label in 2012 after realising in 2009 when dreaming up a concept for a university project, that she could create a positive change through her work.
The independent project OVNA OVICH which means feminine masculine, pays homage to the Russian heritage of designer and director Marina Davis, who grew up by the sea remotely in the deep south of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
With a background in dancing and all things performative, Davis likes to weave stories into the collections which are released as chapters. OVNA OVICH is made locally within a 15 km radius of our Tāmaki, Auckland studio in small batches to reduce our carbon footprint, avoid over production and keep a uniqueness for the wearer.

All parcels are packed in undyed, recyclable/ bio degradable tissue paper with a 100% recycled and fully recyclable mailer (soft plastic www.recycling.kiwi.nz/store-locator), the courier label is made from recycled paper.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and do not take into account processing times or transit delays.
All international deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes. Please note that our shipping costs do not account for any extra fees charged on arrival. These fees are to be paid by the recipient of the parcel.
We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, so please let us know a street address where we can find you, as a signature is required upon delivery.
